On our many travels we have met the artisans we buy our products from. We have known these craftsmen for years, making our relationship very personal. These people stand for respect, cordiality and hospitality. We often find ourselves, amply provided with delicacies, in the artisans' homes, workshop, stall or store conducting our business with them. Although this is an intensive and time-consuming way to work, we have always thought of it as pleasant and inspirational. All these people are proud of and happy with their trade, and, not unimportantly, able to work in the environment they are used and accustomed to. They work from their homes, workshop or stall for fair wages.
